Montreal At Last
// September 5th, 2006 // Uncategorized

Its 1:48 AM Nova Scotia Time (12:48 here) and we made it to our destination at last. We left Truro at about 11:45PM of the 4th, stopping by in Sackville, NB to drop off some things, then of course the expensive gas stops. So far the trip has gone well. We hace survived today on Peanut Butter & Jelly, Peanut Oatmeal Bars, Twizzlers, Banana’s, and some Orange Juice. It rained most of the way to Quebec, and our tarp which happens to be protecting my suitcase crammed with clothes, seemes to have been slightly shredded by the wind. Between Quebec City and Montreal a dense fog seemed to cause drowsiness so we picked up some Red Bull, after we located a gas station hidden in a cloud. The car is 5 inches off the road and has 2 inches of clearance before the shocks bottom out, but we seemed to do pretty well considering. There were a few hills as we crossed the Appalations (I know I spelled that wrong), that were slow going up, but we gained speed easy going downhill. We are staying at Josh’s sister Naomi’s place near Montreal. I guess we will see what happens tomorrow.
